We spent a teambuilding day in Eindhoven, showing our adventurous side with a canoe trip on the Dommel followed by a fun city game.

Our PhD student Bo Batens won the best poster presentation award at the Belgian Nutrition Society Symposium in Brussels.
February 28th 2025
The project of PhD Bo Batens got rewarded with funding from MS Liga Vlaanderen, with the support of the Dutch charity "MoveS - Climbing against MS".

Our postdoc Sanne Verberk won a grant for a pilot project that includes 10,000 euro at the European Society for NeuroImmunology (ESNI) conference!

Our PhD student Melanie Loix successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled "Disturbed lipid metabolism underlies immune cell dysfunction in multiple sclerosis".

Team MIND at the Dutch MS Days in Amsterdam — we were there with nearly the entire team, and proudly showcased two presentations by our colleagues Fleur and Bo.

Two new PhD students joined our lab. Elke (left) obtained a FWO grant and Thalissa (right) managed to get a personal university funding.

Our lab group went on a lab retreat together with the group of Prof. Dr. Jeroen Bogie. We spent two days in Beauraing together!
